the PalmPilot community continues to grow, but we need your help

- PalmPilot wins COMDEX Awards. Lost in the hubub of COMDEX was
the following announcement:
"PC/Computing Magazine awarded the PalmPilot Professional
Edition connected organizer with its MVP award for the handheld
computing category, PC Portables named the PalmPilot organizer
the handheld computing product of the year, and Home Office
Computing gave the product its annual Editors' Choice
award."
The PalmPilot was reported to hold 66% of market share and have
over 3500 commited developers.

Microsoft is ready to publicly unvail their Gryphon device, a Win
CE based competitor to the PalmPilot, sharing a similar form
factor. PCWorld has reported the device will be announced at next
months Consumer Electronics show in Las Vegas.
The device is tipped to offer a built in infrared port, a
CompactFlash slot and the potential to integrate a modem or
paging device. Interestingly, the article suggests the Gryphon
will ship with InkNote, an application to stored digital ink, but
without a handwriting or Graffiti recognition system. Anyone with
